- Today in Math class, we did morning math when we came in. We took some notes so that we could learn something new. She [Ms. Reodica] gave us homework. :-) Luis Serna :-)
- Today in Reading class, we read chapters of Because of Mr. Terupt and The Tell-Tale Heart. We learned seven new vocabulary words like vex, marrow, keen, blood-curdling and marrow. Also, our vocabulary is due tomorrow. Our Tell-Tale Heart book report is due next Monday. :) Kacper Szarek :)
- Today in Social Studies, we had an open-book quiz on the article "Trump, during debate, won't say if he'd accept an election loss." Then, we corrected the quizzes and did CNN. In CNN, we learned that 2/3 of teenagers are distracted when driving, especially on days like Halloween. Next, we need to finish our CNN Response. :-) Sonya Ujda :-)
- Today in Ms. Reodica's Writing class, we had to write a journal entry. We did this because it was Halloween. We also had to turn in the narrative final draft. :) Stephanie Valdovinos :)
- Today in Mr. Maynard's Writing class, we did a D.O.L. and reviewed our homework on compound and complex sentences. We worked on our personal narrative. Then, after that we had most of our narratives checked. What we need to do next is practice more on compound and complex sentences and finish our second draft by the end of class Wednesday. :-) Megan Wolynia :-)
