I was finally able to have our first pair of fifth-graders write today's "Daily Diary."

Thanks to Kyheim and Giovanni for working together on the following.

Today in Writing, we did the homework check in for the Mr. Maynard (3 praises) personal narrative sheet. We went over our origins section (who, what, when, where, why, and how - 5Ws and 1H) for our life as a baby. We learned how to do a family origins interview. We need to complete our family interview/origin tonight.

In Reading, we were reviewing our vocabulary words. We read about Anna's chapter which was in the autism classroom. We went in our groups and read about Danielle and Alexa. We need to study for the vocab quiz tomorrow.

In Social Studies
, we reviewed how to complete our book reports correctly. We then set up our hyperloop book report. We watched CNN and learned about a fight in Afghanistan, a big typhoon in the Caribbean and someone winning a Noble Prize. We have to do our CNN response and our book reports.
