- Today in Math and Science class, we passed out our computation quizzes. In our math notes, we wrote what we learned on Friday in math and we talked about squared numbers. We learned more squared numbers, it's definitions and larger squared numbers. We have to study for our math exam on Friday. We also need to do homework in our PrimeTime notebook. In Science class, we wrote about what we thought was happening to the fruit in the photo. We also talked about what we would do from keeping oranges moldy if you went camping. For homework, we need to think about other ways to stop food from molding. We also need to think about what would help mold from growing. :-) Crisitan Palacios :-)
- Today in Reading class, we did our daily "Terupt" read aloud and response. The book is getting good. Mr. Terupt is in a coma so Anna, Danielle, and Jessica want to visit him, but there is a likely chance that Danielle can't go. Then we learned about our close reading signpost #3: tough questions. Our close reading signposts always relate to our read alouds. Then we read a short excerpt from "A Long Walk to Water" and did a worksheet about this close reading signpost #3: tough questions. And that was what we did in reading class. :) Valeria Izaguirre :)
- Today in Social Studies class, we read the rest of the Donald Trump debate passage, and we are doing "The Votes Are In" activity tonight (for homework or if we have time after class). We also did CNN. It's about troops that are getting killed by ISIS fighters (if no one knows what episode/video we're watching). :-) Kyheim James :-)
- Today in Ms. Reodica's Writing class, we went over our independent and dependent clauses. We did this to study for our class test. We learned to separate independent and dependent clauses. The next thing we need to do is take the independent and dependent clause quiz. :) Samantha Lopez :)
- Today in Mr. Maynard's Writing class, we did our D.O.L.s. D.O.L.s help with writing complete and correct sentences. After that we got our D.O.L. quizzes back and reviewed them. After that, we got our creative writing book back and organized our Post-It notes. :-) Genevieve Pedroza :-)
